A collaboration recorded in New York City and Paris through the exchange and evolution of sound files between sound artists and instrumentalists, percussionist Flin van Hemmen and pianist Jozef Dumoulin, each using samples, field recordings, percussion, keyboards, voice and programming to create sound portraits of propulsive impetus and reflective evocation.

Based in NY but born the Netherlands, sound artist Flin Van Hemmen's title refers to observations from his hometown of Nijmegen, the concept focusing his work, with many samples originating from his previous Casting Spells & The Coves album, along with new field recordings and studio work, resulting in richly detailed worlds of sound and momentum.

Blending live improvisation with studio composition & production, NY-based Dutch drummer, pianist and composer Flin van Hemmen spent 3 years making recordings with guitarist Todd Neufeld, double bassist Eivind Opsvik and himself, transforming them with layering, studio effects, processors and field recordings to create these intensely fascinating compositions.

Young Belgian pianist & composer Bram De Looze in a new Septych (septet) orchestrated with two cellos, three horns, piano and drums from a tremendous set of players: Daniel Levin, Gebhard Ullmann, Robin Verheyen, Lester St-Louis, Bo Van Der Werf and Flin Van Hemmen.
